PRE-CLEAR

This term covers anyone who is not a Clear; however, it is principally used to describe a person who, through Scientology processing, is finding out more about himself and life.

Usage

A pre-clear is principally a person who, through Scientology processing, is finding out more about himself and life. The term covers anyone who is not yet a Clear.

Why It Matters

The term pre-clear defines the starting point of Scientology processing—a person who has not yet reached the state of Clear but is actively working toward it. Understanding this term establishes the basic relationship between the auditor and the person receiving processing.
