LISTEN STYLE AUDITING
A method of auditing in which the auditor just listens to the pre-clear talk without evaluating, invalidating or interrupting him.
From the AOGP Abridged Scientology Dictionary — based on original LRH source materials, updated through 1982.
Usage
In listen style auditing, the auditor simply listens to the preclear talk without evaluating what is said, invalidating the preclear's statements, or interrupting the communication.
Why It Matters
This style of auditing allows the preclear to communicate freely, which can itself produce relief and case gain. By refraining from evaluation, invalidation, or interruption, the auditor creates a safe space for the preclear to look at his own case.
