LISTING
A special procedure used in some processes where the auditor writes down items said by the preclear in response to a question by the auditor in the exact sequence that they are given to him by the preclear.
From the AOGP Abridged Scientology Dictionary — based on original LRH source materials, updated through 1982.
Usage
During listing, the auditor asks a specific question and writes down each item the preclear says in the exact sequence given, without rearranging or omitting any responses.
Why It Matters
Listing is a precise auditing procedure where the exact sequence of the preclear's responses matters. Correct listing leads to finding the right item, which can produce significant change in the preclear's case.
