CASE SUPERVISOR
A highly trained auditor whose job is to direct the auditing of other people's cases. He does not sit in the session himself. He reads the record of what happened, works out what should be done next, tells the auditor to do it, and makes sure it is done correctly.

Usage
After a session, the auditor writes up what happened and the Case Supervisor reads the folder and orders the next action. He works from the written record rather than by interviewing the person, which keeps his judgement based on what actually occurred.
Why It Matters
Having someone outside the session decide what comes next is a safeguard: the auditor concentrates on doing the session well, and a second trained pair of eyes decides the direction. What the Case Supervisor is after is simply the person's improvement.
