AUDITOR PRESENCE
How much the auditor actually registers on the person he is auditing. An auditor with good presence is calm, sure of what he is doing, unafraid of whatever comes up, and genuinely there — so the session has someone real in it.

Usage
An auditor who is fidgeting, unsure of the next step and hoping nothing difficult comes up has poor presence, and the person in the chair can feel it. An auditor who is settled and certain makes it possible for the person to face things he would not face on his own.
Why It Matters
Technique alone does not carry a session; someone has to be there behind it. Auditor presence is built from familiarity with the procedure, certainty, and a track record of successes.
