Usage

When someone is described as being 'in his bank,' he is being influenced by his reactive mind and may display bad temper, irritability, or irrational behavior. The procedures of Scientology are devoted to disposing of the bank so the individual is free of its burden.

Why It Matters

The bank is the reactive mind, and its removal is the central goal of Scientology processing. A person weighed down by his bank acts irrationally, while a person freed from it can think and act clearly.
