O.T
(Operating Thetan): A Clear who has been familiarized with his environment to a point of total cause over matter, energy, space, time and thought, and who is not in a body. One who has done one all of the available Scientology OT levels. One who has done some but not all is said to be a Pre-OT. As of this writing (late 2019) there are verifiably 7 OT levels (earlier levels 4- 7 exist in an original format pre-dating the current OT lineup also that can be delivered at the proper point on the grade chart) and certifications of having completed them to their desired end phenomena available, written, and authorized by (only the original) LRH.

Usage
An Operating Thetan is a Clear who has advanced further to achieve total cause over matter, energy, space, time, and thought. A person who has completed some but not all of the available OT levels is referred to as a Pre-OT.
Why It Matters
OT represents the highest levels of spiritual advancement in Scientology, building upon the state of Clear. As of late 2019, there are verifiably seven OT levels available, each bringing the individual closer to full Operating Thetan.
