NATIVE STATE

What a person is when nothing has been added — able to know everything, and not tangled up in space, energy or mass. It is the starting condition, before anything happened to him.

From the AOGP Abridged Scientology Dictionary — based on original LRH source materials, updated through 1982.

Usage

Describing someone in native state means describing him with no games, no problems and nothing he is having to hold in place. It is a description of what is there underneath, not of a state a person is put into.

Why It Matters

Having a clear statement of the natural condition gives auditing something to aim at. Everything a person is audited on is something in the way of it.
