Ron spent much of his time in 1958 working and lecturing in London and in Washington, DC. He was essentially running organizations on both sides of the Atlantic simultaneously, while keeping up a heavy schedule of research, writing and lecturing.

Among Ron's major technical breakthroughs in 1958 were refinements of clearing technology, as detailed in the 19th American ACC lectures and at the famous Clearing Congress lectures, both given in Washington. Six of the Clearing Congress lectures were captured on color film and can still be heard and watched
today.

His breakthroughs on clearing were so sweeping that after a second Clearing Congress, held in London, he had 25% of the staff of the London organization transferred from administrative to technical posts to increase resources for delivering this new tech.

Ron also made major developments in the technologies of auditing and auditor training, recorded in 1958 lectures and issues on CCHs, assists and Training Drills.
