A simple cognition for me here on Grade 2 was just the idea that overts are committed in an effort to solve a problem...
Sometimes the problem is a real one facing the person, or it may be that he/she is seeing someone or something else from the past in their current situation. In either case the effort in committing the overt is to handle a perceived issue or to right, i.e. end cycle on, a person or issue from their past.
It almost always involves a non-confront with the person doing the overt. Very often, the non-confront is something the person did not confront some time ago that set them up for committing the overt in present time.
I’m very happy to be continuing my progress on the Bridge. Upward and onwards ! ! !
