FIELD AUDITOR
An auditor working out in the world rather than inside an organization — running his own small practice and auditing people professionally. The word "field" simply means out where the public is.

Usage
A field auditor audits people up to the level he is trained for and can also run courses. The term is not applied to anyone who happens to be trained; it means someone who is actually busy doing it.
Why It Matters
Field auditors are how the subject reaches people who never walk into an organization. They have carried much of the delivery from the earliest days onward.
