BY-PASSED CHARGE ASSESSMENT
Auditing by list to help the preclear find by-passed charge. The moment a correct by-passed charge is found the preclear feels much better.
From the AOGP Abridged Scientology Dictionary — based on original LRH source materials, updated through 1982.
Usage
In a by-passed charge assessment, the auditor reads a prepared list of possible sources of charge to the preclear, checking for reactions on the E-Meter. The moment the correct by-passed charge is found, the preclear feels noticeably better.
Why It Matters
This assessment provides a systematic way to locate and relieve charge that has been stirred up but not addressed. It is an important corrective tool that restores the preclear's willingness and ability to continue auditing.
