WHAT'S IT

(verb) A coined word, coming from the phrase, "What is it?" It basically means to ask a question. However, it has come to mean "to dwell on problems, confusions or uncertainties rather than to resolve them". (Noun) - An un-answered question; a puzzlement about something.

Usage

A person who is "what's-itting" is dwelling on problems, confusions, or uncertainties rather than taking action to resolve them. As a noun, a what's-it is an unanswered question or puzzlement that the person cannot seem to get past.

Why It Matters

Dwelling on unresolved questions without working toward answers keeps a person stuck and unable to act. Resolving what's-its through auditing or study clears away the confusion and restores the ability to move forward.
