THETA LINE
The complete line of everything the person himself has been through — his own record, as distinct from the body's. The theta line runs on through many different bodies; the body's line does not.

Usage
When material distinguishes the theta line from the genetic line, it is separating what happened to the person from what happened to the body he was using. They are two different records running side by side.
Why It Matters
This distinction is what made auditing beyond one lifetime coherent rather than mystical. It was set out in 1952.
