OBNOSIS
From the AOGP Abridged Scientology Dictionary — based on original LRH source materials, updated through 1982.
Usage
Practicing obnosis means observing exactly what is there — the obvious — without adding interpretations, assumptions, or preconceptions. An auditor using obnosis looks at the preclear and sees what is actually in front of them, not what they expect to see.
Why It Matters
Obnosis is valuable because the ability to observe the obvious can be regained and improved through Scientology. This skill is essential for auditors, executives, and anyone who needs to see situations as they actually are rather than through filters of assumption.
