ADDITIVES
From the AOGP Abridged Scientology Dictionary — based on original LRH source materials, updated through 1982.
Usage
If an auditor adds extra steps or questions to an already workable auditing process, those additions are additives that can reduce or nullify the results the preclear would otherwise achieve. Keeping processes clean and free of additives is a fundamental discipline in auditing.
Why It Matters
Additives are a significant concern in Scientology practice because they can undermine processes and procedures that are already proven to work. Recognizing and removing additives is essential to maintaining standard results in auditing and organizational activity.
