ACCEPTANCE LEVEL
From the AOGP Abridged Scientology Dictionary — based on original LRH source materials, updated through 1982.
Usage
A person with a low acceptance level might refuse to associate with anyone who does not meet very specific conditions, while a person with a high acceptance level freely accepts people and things as they are. An auditor might observe shifts in a preclear's acceptance level as processing progresses.
Why It Matters
Acceptance level reflects a person's willingness to engage with life and others, and is determined by the conditions the person requires before accepting something. Raising a person's acceptance level through processing increases their ability to interact freely with the world around them.
