DIANETIC AUDITING
Auditing that works through the painful, half-conscious moments in a person's life and takes the pain out of them. Getting rid of that stored pain is what restores a person's good sense and steadiness.

Usage
A person who panics near water may be audited on the moment he nearly drowned as a child, going over it until the charge on it is gone. The memory stays; the automatic panic does not.
Why It Matters
This is the branch of the subject that deals with the mind and the body, and it is where the whole subject started in 1950. What comes after it deals with the person as a spiritual being.
