BLOW
A colloquialism for a sudden departure. It is usually used to describe either the sudden dissipation of mass in the mind with an accompanying feeling of relief, or someone leaving, ceasing to be where he should really be, or just ceasing to be audited.

Usage
In auditing, a blow refers to the sudden dissipation of mental mass, accompanied by a feeling of relief for the preclear. The term is also used when someone abruptly leaves a post, a course, or a session — ceasing to be where they should be.
Why It Matters
A blow of mental mass in session is a positive sign that charge has been released and the preclear has had a realization. However, a blow in the sense of a sudden departure indicates something unresolved that drove the person away.
