ENTURBULATE

Cause to be turbulent or agitated and disturbed.

From the AOGP Abridged Scientology Dictionary — based on original LRH source materials, updated through 1982.

Usage

A person who has been enturbulated has been caused to become agitated and disturbed, such as after receiving upsetting news or being subjected to confusing communications. In an organizational setting, enturbulated staff are less productive and more prone to errors.

Why It Matters

Recognizing when someone has been enturbulated helps in addressing the source of the disturbance. Reducing enturbulation restores calm and rational function to individuals and groups.
