Usage
During an auditing session, a preclear may suddenly have a cognition — a new realization about life that they had not seen before. This realization brings a higher degree of awareness and greater ability to succeed.
Why It Matters
Cognitions are a key indicator of progress in auditing, showing that the person is gaining new understanding. Each cognition results in increased awareness and improved ability to handle life.
