SONIC
The ability to recall a sound so that one can hear it again as he originally heard it in full clarity, tone and volume.
From the AOGP Abridged Scientology Dictionary — based on original LRH source materials, updated through 1982.
Usage
A person with sonic recall can re-hear a conversation or sound exactly as it originally occurred, in full clarity, tone, and volume. In auditing, the return of sonic is considered a recovery of perceptic ability.
Why It Matters
Sonic recall is one of the perceptics that may be restored through auditing, indicating that the person's ability to fully re-experience past moments is improving rather than being blocked by the Reactive Mind.
