PROCEDURE 30
A set of three processing steps introduced in 1954, dealing with duplication, with problems, and with the ability to let other people be themselves. The three later became part of Intensive Procedure. The number 30 has no meaning at all; it was just the name.

Usage
The first of the three steps is Opening Procedure by Duplication. The whole set is sometimes still called by its nickname, the Dirty Thirty.
Why It Matters
It is a small, tight set of processes that turned out to be worth keeping. That is why it was folded into the larger 1954 procedure rather than dropped.
