Usage

During an auditing session, a preclear may experience a grief charge — an outburst of tears that continues for a considerable time — as painful emotion from a secondary is discharged. After the grief charge releases, the preclear feels greatly relieved.

Why It Matters

The discharge of grief charge frees the preclear from stored painful emotion that has been affecting them. This release is a recognized and expected part of auditing that leads to measurable improvement in the preclear's condition.
