PROFESSIONAL COURSE
A course that trains someone to audit professionally. There have been a good many different Professional Courses over the years, beginning with the training of the first professional Dianetics auditors in 1950.

Usage
When a lecture series from the early years is described as given on a Professional Course, it means the audience were people being trained to audit others for a living. The first of them was held in Los Angeles late in 1950.
Why It Matters
Training auditors, rather than only auditing people, is what allowed the subject to spread beyond one man. The professional courses are where that started.
