This is the companion to Season 5, Episode 12, "The Condition We Fail To Assign": where that episode dealt with how ethics gets weaponized and misapplied, this one is the cure. The source material runs from the Phoenix Lectures of July 1954, where LRH lays out the four conditions of existence — as-isness, alter-isness, not-isness and isness — through the 6th ACC of 1954, the Saint Hill Special Briefing Course lectures 417, 420, 424, 425 and 444 of 1965-66, OEC Volume 0, and Axiom 53, the axiom of the stable datum. The central claim is simple and uncomfortable: everything you care about is already in a condition right now, named or unnamed. Your marriage, your job, your health, your finances, the car that has sat in the driveway for ten years. You do not get a vote on whether you are in a condition. You only get a vote on whether you know which one. Quenton walks the scale from confusion, treason, enemy, doubt and liability up through non-existence, danger, emergency, normal, affluence and power — and makes the distinction the whole subject rests on: a condition is a state, not an emotion. It is where an area sits on the survival curve, independent of how you feel about it. You can feel wonderful and be in danger; you can feel awful and be climbing. That is why statistics matter — the graph names your condition for you. Jonathan covers valuable final products, and why a formula is mechanical, not motivational: it works like a key, one notch off and nothing opens. They run non-existence through meeting someone at a bar, danger through learning to drive, and Quenton's stolen credit card in Johannesburg — applying the condition the environment calls for, not the one you wish for. Then doubt, the great condition of our time. Underneath all of it sits the reason the formulas work: as-isness. What you can correctly view and fully duplicate vanishes. Name the thing exactly for what it is and it changes; name it wrongly, call danger "normal", and the situation persists and worsens, because a lie causes persistence. LRH did not decree these — he observed them, the way Newton observed gravity.
