The Lectures of 1965

What L. Ron Hubbard was working on through 1965.

In January of 1965, L. Ron Hubbard traveled to the Canary Islands to begin intensive research on the spiritual nature of the origins of humans.

His activities during the remainder of the year brought significant organizational and technical breakthroughs as a result of his years of work at Saint Hill.

The Classification and Gradation Chart was released, laying out the exact steps to follow in Scientology counseling and training to achieve higher states of awareness and ability.

In November, L. Ron Hubbard announced and implemented the seven-division organizing board. This was a major breakthrough in the successful pattern of operation of any group. It had a universal application and has been in use in all Churches of Scientology and an increasing number of other organizations since its release.

16 lectures were delivered to students of the Saint Hill Special Briefing Course in 1965.
